What is LINDDUN?

LINDDUN is a threat modeling methodology focused specifically on privacy. Where STRIDE targets security threats, LINDDUN systematically surfaces privacy threats across seven categories: Linkability, Identifiability, Non-repudiation, Detectability, Disclosure of information, Unawareness, and Non-compliance.

It's especially relevant for systems handling personal data and for compliance with privacy regulations. LINDDUN is often used alongside STRIDE so a single analysis covers both security and privacy.
